Ravensworth Wines Ravensworth wines are grown and produced in the Murrumbateman area, 30 minutes north of Canberra. The wines are all made from the fruit estate grown on our two (adjoining) vineyards. Harvest is well underway for 2009 (our 9th Vintage), with the Shiraz, Marsanne and Viognier safely in, and only the sangiovese and riesling to come.
Our 2007 Shiraz Viognier is now available, and is showing all the beautiful cool climate elegance and perfume that this style produces from the high country. The 2008 sangiovese is also now available (bottled in february), a somewhat lighter style than the (now sold out) 2007, it's elegant and varietal, already drinking beautifully..

Collector Wines Collector Wines produces small quantities
of red table wine.

Grapes are sourced from a group of
growers farming on the characteristic
lean pink granites and reddish shale loams
of the Canberra District.

The wines are hand-made for balance, character and depth of flavour.

Our wine is made near Collector, on the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales.

Collector Wines has been named BEST NEW WINERY in the 2009 Penguin Australian Wine Awards.

Collector Wines 2005 Marked Tree Red was awarded the NSW Wine of the Year for 2007.

Nick O'Leary Wines O'Leary Wines were awarded six gold medals in the shiraz classes at the regional show three each to the Hilltops region (Young) and Canberra district. This is unquestionably the standout variety of the region, offering world-class quality at modest prices. The fragrant, plush, Chalkers Crossing 2005, made by Celine Rousseau, topped our honours list, winning trophies as best shiraz, best red of the show and best wine of the show. But there were rich pickings throughout the shiraz classes, including Nick O'Leary's seductive 2007 from Murrumbateman and the supple Dionysus 2007.
